Each year, BEI launches new initiatives that contribute to a coherent set of long-term campaigns. These campaigns are grounded in scientific evidence, ancestral ecological knowledge, and a historically informed vision of social and environmental justice. Together, they advance the four pillars of BEI’s mission:
(1) organizing communities through environmental education;
(2) expanding and multiplying access to green jobs;
(3) catalyzing a community-led energy movement; and
(4) advancing environmental health and climate resilience.
