We raise awareness in society to sensitize more people to the environmental issues that Black, Brown and Immigrant communities face. We also invest in educational projects that tell stories and create experiences with the potential of reducing psychological barriers to the environmental justice cause.
At BE Initiative, we believe that social progress does not necessarily happen with time, it happens with long-term campaigning and education on important issues.
Our objective is to denormalize the fact that poorer communities, which often include Black, Brown and Immigrant people, are unfairly exposed to the harm of pollution. Our objective is also to promote and implement solutions that we think can address the issues.
In order to make this change, we have invested a lot of our energy in public outreach.
